How to add Replenishment Items to an Open Purchase Order

  • The replenishment report only updates when the purchase order is in an inventory status (usually active) or if a goods received transaction is completed.
  • The item record must have a supplier price and a supplier filled in next to that price before it can be dragged onto a purchase order.
  • If an item can be ordered from multiple suppliers, there must be a supplier price for each of those suppliers.
  • Currently the replenishment report does not filter to find the supplier with the lowest price.
  1. While capturing or editing a purchase order:
  2. Click Actions (button) > View Items due for Replenishment.
  3. The Inventory – Replenishment report is opened on the right.
  4. On the report: Click View (button).
    • Note: Items that must be purchased from the supplier filled in on the purchase order are displayed. The unit that is used is the one in which the supplier price is added (i.e. the purchase unit).
  5. Drag any item from the report onto the purchase order. You can select multiple entries, and they will be dragged together onto the purchase order.
    • Note: If the item is already on the purchase order, the quantity is not updated, a new entry is created below that item.
  6. Complete the purchase order.
